Smart Living Quarters

The living quarters of an offshore intstallation or vessel is where personell have time off and regain energy in between work periods. It is important to have as high possible comfort and security to ensure this.

One example, to ensure comfort and quality of facilities, sensors can be used to monitor how often facilities are used and cleaned.

Another typical example of technology that could influence this is air quality sensors. Even if separated from process and production areas there could be gases and pollution that enter the living quarters and expose personell to hazards they are not protected from due to not being on duty.
