Trisense has developed a wireless RH/T Sensor to measure Relative Humidity, Temperature and Water Presence inside the insulation of cladded piping. Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) is often the most costly challenge for the process industry. Each year the processing industry, e.g., Oil & Gas companies, spends significant amounts of money connected to inspection and upgrade of insulated pipelines to prevent risks associated with CUI

Data from the CUI sensor is used to monitor kilometers of insulated piping to detect abnormalities and just as important – to eliminate unlikely areas of CUI. In this way removal and re-installation of cladding and insulation in unaffected areas can be reduced significantly

The sensors are designed for use in hazardous areas and comes with ATEX, Zone 0 certification.

No need for gateway deployment as the sensor is communicating via the 4G cellular network utilizing NB IoT/LTE technology.
