I am Ismot Odubonojo, a dedicated Operations Engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

I have a master’s degree in information security from Stockholm University, Sweden. Prior to joining Tampnet, I gained valuable experience working as a Cloud Engineer.
 
What is your occupation in the company? 
I am currently an Operations Engineer at Tampnet AS. I play a crucial role in ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for our customers' operations. This involves overseeing the day-to-day management and maintenance of our network infrastructure, proactively identifying, and resolving any issues that may arise to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service.
 
What does a typical day in your role look like? 
A typical day for an Operations Engineer at Tampnet involves monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, participating in projects to enhance network capabilities, and collaborating with teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. It's a dynamic role that requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to ensure the reliability and security of our network services.

What inspired you to pursue the career you did?
I've long been captivated by the ever-evolving landscape of technology. The prospect of leveraging innovation to enhance people's daily experiences and tackle intricate challenges deeply resonates with me.

The best part of working in my team is the collaborative environment. Everyone brings their unique strengths to the table, and we support each other to achieve our goals. It's like a close-knit family where everyone is valued and respected.
 
What’s the most exciting task/project you’ve worked on? 
One of the most exciting projects I've worked on was the commissioning of a new site for clients, and I was thrilled to be part of a team that pushed the boundaries of what was possible in our field.
 
What is one of your favorite memories of your time at Tampnet?
It was a moment when my team successfully implemented a complex network upgrade that significantly enhanced connectivity for our clients. Witnessing the tangible impact of our collaborative efforts on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction was truly rewarding.
